MS Piano 🎹 & Ping Pong Tables 🏓
You are welcome to use our piano and ping pong tables (coming later this week!) in the MS Commons during break time for now. Starting on September 29, you may also use them during Flex Space after school from 4-5. Let's all work together to take care of these special items and store the equipment properly.
Junior Embajadores
Are you looking for a way to give back to ASM and serve our community? Become a Junior Embajador!
HOW DO I SIGN UP? You can sign up by completing this Google Form or emailing the Admissions office admissions@asmadrid.es to tell them that you are interested.
THEN WHAT? Admissions will connect you with someone on campus (via email) who is looking for a Junior Embajador. You will need to confirm your job with the staff member and then let Admissions know you have accepted the job.
J.E. HOURS: You are responsible for keeping track of your hours (with your staff member's signature) so that you can earn a certificate of service at the end of the school year.

Need help or support at school? Here’s who you can turn to in addition to your teachers and advisor:
Mr. Chambers is there if you need someone to talk to about your feelings, friendships, or any other challenges.
Mr. Hofschire and Ms. Thorp (Learning Support Teachers) can help you with strategies and tools to make learning and organization easier and more successful.
Ms. Cotillo works with students and teachers to keep our school safe, respectful, and positive, and supports students through challenges and ideas for improving our community.
Mr. Nugent leads the school and supports both students and teachers so everyone can do their best.

MS ASAs and Sports 🥎🎶🎨
MS ASAs and sports start Monday, September 29. If you remain on campus from 4-5 starting on that day, you must be in a supervised place (ASA, sports practice, Flex Space, etc.). Students are not allowed to hang out at the cafe or anywhere else on campus unattended. More details about this to come...

Field Trip to Gredos from Tuesday September 23 to Friday September 26.
Tuesday, September 30 Class picture @10:15 (beginning of advisory time) in the Middle School Steps.
Grade 7
Student Led Conferences will take place on October 30th.
Some teacher might request a subject area conference on October 31st.
Grade 8
Field trip reminder, Wednesday September 24.
There will be a town hall on Friday, October 03 to discuss grade 8 privileges.

Recess
All students must go outside for recess--picnic areas, upper field, volleyball dome--until you hear an announcement about other recess opportunities during our October MS community meeting. No students should be in the MS building, Lower School, changing rooms or other places on campus during recess.
MS Shout Outs 🤩
Have you noticed someone in our MS community doing something for which they should be recognized? Someone going out of their way to be kind to others? Someone pushing through a challenge? Someone going the extra mile with their effort? Complete this Google Form, so that you can SHOUT them OUT at our October MS community meeting. Go Lancers!
Bathrooms and Water 💧
You are doing an excellent job of going to the bathroom and filling your water bottles during your break, transition and lunch/recess times. Keep planning ahead so that you can make the most out of your class time!
