What is a Room Parent?
Room Parents are family volunteers who help support every homeroom class in the Lower School. They partner with teachers and the LS admin team in all kinds of ways, and they think of their role as serving the whole class and grade level, not just their own child. Above all, Room Parents are positive, welcoming members of our ASM community.

Mutual Respect and Anti-Bullying Agreement: The Lower School is committed to a caring, responsive, and safe learning environment, free from discrimination, violence, and bullying, where every student can thrive and build meaningful connections with others. As part of this commitment, our counselors will be visiting classrooms in the coming weeks to introduce themselves and discuss our Mutual Respect & Anti-Bullying Agreement with students.
A copy will also come home for you to review and sign with your child. Thank you for partnering with us to build a school community where every student feels safe, respected, and valued.
