Lower School Learning Program - September 18, 2026

Dear Families,

We've had a wonderful week in the Lower School. Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Open House, it was lovely to share our classrooms and our learning with you. We'd love to hear your feedback through this short form.

We've also enjoyed seeing so many of you at the grade level Coffee and Connections this week for an informal time to come together and discuss your children's development.

As we look ahead to our parent education sessions this year, we want to make sure they're useful to you. Please take a moment to share what topics would be most helpful using this survey.

Playground Use After School: If you're on campus after school and your children are playing on the playground, please keep a few things in mind. Our loose parts materials are put away and closed off at the end of the school day so they're ready and in good condition for the next day. Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times, and we ask that the space be left as you found it before you head out. Thank you for your support and cooperation.

September Character Strength: Inclusion

This month in the Lower School, our classrooms are talking about what it means to be inclusive. Teachers are helping students notice the small, everyday moments where inclusion shows up: inviting a classmate to play, asking a question to learn more about someone, listening closely when a friend is speaking, and recognizing that our differences make our community stronger. When teachers see a student living out this strength, they write a short note and submit a nomination. A name from each grade is drawn at the assembly, and those students get a special lunch with Ms. Dani.

Oct 25 - Halloween Carnival
Oct 29-30 - Virtual Learning Conferences (Students stay home on these days).
