Moisés Melchor Tafur (trumpet): Since 2018, Moisés has studied jazz trumpet at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and at Centro Superior Música Creativa in Madrid, where he graduated in 2023 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Jazz and Contemporary Music Performance.
He has collaborated with ensembles such as Creativa Superior Big Band, NorthWest Jazz Ensemble, Orquesta Iuventas, and The All Night Long Big Band, and has performed in venues and festivals including Teatros del Canal, Teatro Fernán Gómez (Festival de Jazz de Madrid), Café Berlín, Galileo Galilei, Clamores, Museo Thyssen, and the Auditorio Nacional. He has shared the stage with artists such as Rafael de Utrera, Carles Benavent, Niño Josele, and El Farru, and has worked as lead trumpet substitute in Chicago The Musical.
Moisés is currently an active member of projects including The All Night Long Big Band (specialized in blues), Genboo (jazz fusion), La Moneda de Mei (Spanish pop-rock), and a jazz trio dedicated to tributes to film music, performing works by Cole Porter and the Gershwin brothers.
He teaches trumpet and improvisation and is available for private lessons after school. Monday 4-5 and Tuesday 4-6

Javier Sáez Mozos (trombone, euphonium). Mr. Saez Mozos is a passionate performer and music educator with more than a decade of experience in teaching trombone, euphonium, and brass technique to students of diverse ages and skill levels. He possesses three Master's degrees in Music Education and Pedagogy, complemented by an extensive performance career with major Spanish orchestras.
He studied trombone at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid, finishing in 2013 with merits. Since then, he finished a Master’s degree in Music Education at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, the euphonium degree with merits at the Conservatorio Profesional “Manuel de Falla” de Alcorcón (Madrid), a Master’s degree in Music Pedagogy at Universidad Internacional de la Rioja and a Master’s degree in Instrumental Pedagogy at Universidad Alfonso X “El Sabio".
He studied with performers like Félix García, J. Enrique Cotolí, Baltasar Perelló, Juan Bautista Abad, Miguel Rivera, John Kenny, Gilles Milliere, Carlos Gil, Indalecio Bonet, Stephan Schulz, Thomas Horch and Mark Hampson.
His performer career was recognized with the 3rd prize at the 5th Young Performer Contest "Villa de Castellnovo” (Castellón) and the 3rd prize at the 1st Brass Quintet Contest of Benimodo (Valencia). In addition, he has performed with a wide variety of renowned Spanish orchestras such as the Orquesta Sinfónica de Madrid, Orquesta Sinfónica de RTVE, Orquesta y Coro de la Comunidad de Madrid, Orquesta de Extremadura, Film Symphony Orchestra and contemporary groups like Plural Ensemble. He has also participated in the recording of several soundtracks, like “Otros Mundos” for Movistar+ or “Klaus” for Netflix, and albums such as “Incendios" by Conchita or “Gitano” by Plácido Domingo. He is currently the principal trombone at Orquesta Sinfónica Ciudad de Getafe and Orquesta Sinfónica de Rivas and trombonist of And The Brass and Madrid Brass Band.
Since 2013 he has worked as a trombone teacher at various music schools of Madrid, highlighting his teaching work at Escuela Municipal de Música de Pinto (2017-2023) and at Escuela-Conservatorio “Manuel Rodríguez Sales” de Leganés (from 2023 until now). Furthermore, since 2023 he is trombone and euphonium teacher at the music summer camp Campus de Artes, Música y Ocio de “El Tiemblo”.

Luis Sousa (French horn). Luís Sousa bachelor's and master's degrees graduated from Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa, Aveiro University, Brass Academy Alicante and scholarship from Salzburg Mozart Foundation.
In Spain he collaborated with Orquesta y Coro de la Comunidad de Madrid and Orquesta Reino de Aragón, in Portugal he collaborated with all the main orchestras, namely Portuguese Symphony Orchestra, Gulbenkian Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra of Oporto Casa da Música, and played in the main capitals of Europe, United States of America, Brazil and Mexico. He worked with illustrious musicians such as Vasily Petrenko, David Zinman, Giancarlo Guerrero, Plácido Domingo, Krzysztof Penderecki, Philippe Entremont, Laurence Foster, Tito Muñoz, Daniel Raiskin, Michel Sanderling, Sunwook Kim, Guy Braunstein, Case Scaglione, Lorenzo Viotti, etc.
He has appeared in influential concert halls such as Konzerthaus Wien, Musikverein Wien, Konzerthaus Berlin, Gasteig München, Walt Disney Concert Hall, Philharmonie Essen, Carnegie Hall, Davies Symphony Hall, Palace de Bellas Artes, Teatro Degollado,Teatro Real, Palau de la Música Catalana, Queen Elizabeth Hall, among others. During his artistic career he has won different awards, semi-finalist at the 27th World Music Competition - Brass Category in Vienna, 2nd place in the horn category at the International Orchestra Audition Awards by the Salzburg Mozarteum Foundation, 20 place in the final at the Kings Peak International Music Competition - Brass Category in the USA, 2nd place of the International Music Competition in France, semi-finalist of the public audition for principal horn of the renowned New York Philharmonic and finalist of the New York Classical Music Competition.
He was horn teacher at several music festivals around the world in Brazil, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Mexico. Formed hornist of Portuguese Navy Band (2009-13), principal horn of the Portuguese Chamber Orchestra (2011-12), soloist of the Madeira Classical Orchestra (2013-16) and principal horn of the Jalisco Philharmonic Orchestra (México, 2016-19). Since 2020 he has been principal horn at the Santa Cecilia Orchestra based in Madrid.

Andres Alonso Canal (tuba, euphonium). Mr. Andres Alonso is a professional tuba player who combines his teaching work at the Conservatory of music Amaniel with his performing career. He has a master's degree from the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) and has performed with the Zürich Philarmonie, Bern Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra de la Suisse Romande and Orquesta de la Comunidad de Madrid, among others. His interest in exploring new sounds and styles has led him to be part of jazz projects such as the HKB Big Band, Zhdk Big Band and he has recently recorded an album with the prestigious jazz pianist Alex Conde, performing in prestigious festivals and concert halls. He is currently member of the groups And The Brass, Madrid Brass Band, Biodramina Mood and Puntillo Canalla Brass Band, with whom he performs throughout Spain.
