Service Learning

Service learning is learning how to be a good community member by serving the people, animals, and environment around us.  It improves academic and social outcomes for students because it helps kids feel connected and gives them a sense of belonging. Helping others fills something in us that can’t be met in other ways.

Anzar High School student are requred to complete 72 Service Learning hours in at least 4 different placements by the time that they graduate.  This means your goal should be to complete at least 9 Service Learning hours each semester.
