The museum doors for our event will open at 6:30 pm. The actual Toolslam will start at 7:00 pm in the Neville Auditorium.
The main Museum parking lot is adjacent to the north side of the building. It is well lit and has ample handicap parking spaces. There is no cost to park in this lot for Museum visitors. With 140+ attending this event, parking will be tight, additional parking is available on Museum Place road.
Every part of the Toolslam...the space, the snacks, the presenters...are either donated or volunteered. Since it is essentially free to put on, the event is FREE to attend! THANK YOU to the Neville Public Museum, CDW, Newline, Kami, Renaissance, and our presenters for helping make this a zero-cost professional development.
The Toolslam will start at 7:00 pm in the Neville Auditorium, featuring some awesome local presenters sharing 10 great tech tools! Each presenter will have 5 minutes to "slam" their tool in a fast-paced/high-energy presentation. After each tool, there will be a quick 1-2 minute transition, with a prize giveaway...equalling an amazing jam-packed hour of learning!
The museum doors will open at 6:30 pm, Snacks will be available in the Mezzanine areas of the Museum, the Museum will be free to self-tour at this time, Vendor demonstrations in the Mezzanine with Newline Interactive, Kami, and Renaissance Learning will be going on, and presenters will be available to chat about tech tools and collaborate.
Besides the chance for prizes, time to collaborate, and the learning?...yes! Attendees will receive (via email) a certificate of attendance. If you need additional information, please let me know. We also will have a photo backdrop to take pictures, if you would like.
We typically have a waiting list for this event, so please email javerbeck@ashwaubenonk12.org if you can no longer attend.
