Dyspraxia often affects a studentโs motor skills, language, social interactions, and ability to organise themselves.ย
Whilst affecting mainly movement, coordination, and speech, dyspraxia has no effect on intelligence. Students are capable of learning alongside others, even if they need to be supported from time to time.
Often dyspraxia can affect the ability of a person to do written work, move a mouse, or navigate a keyboard or touch-screen. Despite this, there are ways to support a learner with dyspraxia using alternative means of learning such as voice typing.
