Udaipur, also known as the “City of Lakes,” is a historic city located in the Indian state of Rajasthan. The city was founded in 1559 by Maharana Udai Singh II. Udaipur is known for its rich history, culture, and architecture. The city is home to several historic monuments and places of interest, including the City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Bagore ki Haveli, Saheliyon ki Bari, Moti Magri, Sajjangarh Palace, Ghanta Ghar, Eklingji Temple, Haldighati, Ahar Cenotaphs, and Pratap Gaurav Kendra. These sites offer a glimpse into the ancient Mewari architectural designs and the rich cultural heritage of Rajasthan.
