Job Title: Elementary Education Teacher
Reports to: District Principal/Superintendent
Location: Ashland, MT
Ashland Public School in Ashland, MT is looking to hire motivated, K-8 Certified Elementary and/or Middle School Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year. Ashland Public Offers:

Base salary pay $41,615, and the district gives up to 10 years previous experience with a BA at $47,794, with ten years previous experience and MA+10 is $57,538, and longevity pay.

Academic Qualifications:
Candidates must have Certification in Elementary Education and hold a Montana Teaching license or have the ability to obtain one. The successful candidate must also pass a background check.

Ashland Public School is located in southeastern Montana near the Custer National Forest which offers great hunting and recreational opportunities for every outdoor enthusiast. The Tongue River runs through the valley adding fishing and water sports just a short drive from town. Miles City, Billings, and Sheridan, Wyoming all offer shopping and entertainment convenience within a two-hour drive.
Coaching positions and other extracurricular positions may be available for a stipend.
