Creative Writing

Karen Scalf

  • The Creative Writing Club is open to all.
  • It is a place to create and share original writing. We are a participation-based club.
  • The CWC is where we gather and all are given the opportunity to express themselves and improve their creative writing.
  • We elect officers at the end of the school year, and one must be a member of the club for at least one year to run.
  • Dues are $5 and paid by mid-Sept.
  • We meet at least one Wed. a month, and usually the 2nd and 4th Wed. of the month after school for 35-45 minutes for writing and sharing sessions.
  • We seek publication and performance opportunities for our members.
  • This year, we envision a creative service project here at Blazer and are currently planning a Creativity Garden on the Blazer grounds. This will be a place for reading, writing, and quiet contemplation.
