1. Brainstorm what you want to write about

• Colleges are looking for who is this person, will this person contribute something valuable to our campus, can this person write

• Use this Values Exercise to help the process

2. Look at the prompts and find one that fits your topic choice

• UCAS Personal Statement

3. Begin writing your drafts! 

• Remember you will need to revise and edit many times

• Make sure you have trusted sources reading your essay to make sure it sounds like YOU
