Welcome to a new school year!

I am thrilled to welcome all students and parents to the 2022-2023 school year! I hope all of our families had time to rest, have fun, and be with friends and family over the summer break. My family and I gathered in the Northeast of the United States for some fun at Lake Arrowhead in Maine.

Being back on campus already feels better than ever as our entire community returns our focus to academic and social emotional learning. We will continue to keep our community safe by following research based guidelines. This would not be possible without our amazing Covid Response Team (CRT).

High School Teacher Leaders

Cafeteria Service

We have a new cafeteria provider in the Upper School Cafeteria, "Juvie Jus." They will have an app to better facilitate preorders and two different lines (grab 'n go and made to order). The Parents Association and Cafeteria Committee is confident Juvie Jus can meet all of our needs.

10th MacBook Night

10th grade students and new/returning students will be receiving a school issued MacBook Pro to better support learning. We invite both parent and student to attend an informational meeting on Tuesday, August 16 at 6:00 p.m. in the Auditorium. At least one parent of each student is required to attend.

We are honored to have an expert guest speaker, Daniela Santibáñez, for this year’s presentation. She will lead us through a very informative session discussing the responsible use of technology, digital etiquette, digital health and wellness, and one’s digital footprint. We will also discuss the financial responsibility associated with receiving this equipment.

10th Graders need a graphing calculator

For the 2022-23 school year grade 10 students will be required to buy the TI-Nspire CX II CAS graphing calculator from Texas Instruments. This calculator allows the students to analyze mathematical functions and scientific relationships

The calculator is sold at our bookstore for $175.00 USD. We ask that parents pay a non-refundable deposit of $87.50 USD to the school cashier no later than August 26. When the calculators arrive, you will pay the remaining $87.50 USD balance.
