Quarter 1: Design a Logo

Students use the constructions technique and their knowledge of Transformations to reproduce well-known logos with a flavor.

Quarter 2: Trigonometry at work

Using trigonometry to measure the angle of elevation of the Sun at different times of day and to measure the heights of tall objects.

Quarter 3: Quadratics and Time-Lapse Photography

Students investigate the trajectory of projectiles using time-lapse photography

Quarter 4:  Geometry Dartboard Project

Design and create a geometric dartboard and determine the probability of hitting each area using your knowledge of area and probability.
