About me:
I hold a BA in Government from Dartmouth College with a minor in Environmental Studies. I hold a MA in Teaching Secondary Social Studies from Teachers College at Columbia University.
I am so excited to be joining the ASFG community this year. I have been teaching Economics in Berkeley, California for 6 years and am passionate about increasing financial literacy and entrepenuerial skills in our young adults. I've also run a College and Career Preperatory Senior Seminar for 6 years, preparing seniors in high school for college admissions and career selection. Additionally, outside of the school setting I have guided and tutored private clients on college admissions for the past 3 years.
Philosophy: Each year I look forward to loving a new group of young people unconditionally, and building a space together that fosters creativity, critical thinking, empathy, and exploration.
