Journeying to the sublime city of Guadalajara from Miami (via China) has presented me a with wide open perspective on life and living that I hope to Share with my students. Math is just one of many languages that we can employ to describe ourselves and our place in the universe. Through hard work and self-discipline, I endeavor to build a gritty confidence within our 7th grade students that, hopefully, will last a lifetime.

Grade 7 math covers a wide variety of topics including Algebraic Reasoning, Geometry & Measurement, Probability & Statistics and Number Sense. Specific skills and concepts can be found here. A student-friendly version of the standards and benchmarks can be found here. The honors section covers much of the same content, but at times with more depth and complexity.
