Upper School students bring their own laptop, known as BYOD (Bring Your Own Device). An apple or windows laptop with a full operating system is required.

Devices must run macOS 14.6+ Ventura or Sonoma or Windows 11 (not S or SE), have an i5 processor or AMD Ryzen 5 or better, 8 GB memory or more, a minimum battery life of 4 hours, and 1 GB+ of free space. Full specification requirements can be found below.

Devices older than 4 years old are not recommended as most do not meet the minimum requirements for online testing (PSAT, SAT, AP, etc.) and course software (Adobe Creative Cloud, Autodesk CAD, etc.).

Upper School students bring their own headphones to school daily. An extra charger to keep in the student’s backpack for use during the school day is also highly recommended.
