As Academy for Science and Design's student council co-president, I spend time talking to student council representatives, teachers, and school board members to understand their vision for my school. My focus is to take their different ideas and apply them towards accomplishing the student council's goal: "To maintain a positive, fun, and enjoyable student environment." Additionally, I create the agenda for the student council meetings and help to set up our events. By leading, listening, and guiding the discussions at meetings, I’ve learned to be a better leader.
