Welcome to IM Math 2! I am so excited to learn with your mathematicians this year. This curriculum allows for a lot of discussion and use of a variety of problem-solving strategies. We are learning to look at math in many different ways.

Your child will have a green math folder that comes home each night. The folder will have the daily homework sheet, as well as graded/checked papers. I will send home the previous week's lessons each Monday so you can see what we are doing in class. 

Effort grades are taken from class participation, as well as homework. Academic grades are taken from lesson Cool-Downs, as well as the Section Checkpoints and End-of-Unit Assessments.
