About Me

Hello Families!! I am looking forward to my 17th year of teaching in the Anchorage School District, and my 7th year at Aquarian Charter School. I am so happy to continue to share my love of teaching and love of learning with the families at Aquarian!

I was born and raised right here in Anchorage, Alaska, and earned my Bachelor of Arts in Education degree at the University of Alaska Anchorage. My husband Chris is also a teacher, and teaches history, government, and economics at South High School. We have three boys, Kai (18), Carson (14), and Finn (9), a rabbit named Ash, and a brand new puppy named Ellie.

Some of my hobbies include reading, baking, family bike rides, and hiking.
