INSPIRE ME

Brenda Hearn inspires me because she is the epitome of a professional who always thinks of others first and is always a kind word to share.

Mariah Smith inspires me because of her positive energy in the 337 pod and in her classroom I hear lots of good things coming out of her room.

Brenda Hearn inspires me because of the love and care she demonstrates for all students.

Leah Kellerby inspires me because she makes great connections with the kids.

Nicole Ayers inspires me because she is always welcoming and although new this year, she has really delved into Bartlett.

Sarah Davies inspires me because she is strong even in weakness and takes care of her needs and others. She always provides another unique perspective on situations she pulls the most amazing art ideas out of students.

Julie Campbell inspires me because she brings humor to our PLC meetings and is inclusive in group discussions. Friendly and respectful to those around her. Grateful to have her as a colleague.

Patrick Williams inspires me because he has been a great pod partner. Creative influence on all kinds of lesson planning, and he is always ready to jump in and help whether we are rearranging desks or dodging punches.

Jennifer Corcoran inspires me because she jumps right in and handles any SPED thing that comes her way! She is a fast learner and self-motivated to complete training and coursework.

Nathan Walters inspires me because of the positive vibe he carries all over Purple Hall. Thanks for the ways you care about students.

Ken Tate inspires me because he is always pleasant during our PLC meetings. He always has a Southern Gentleman air about him and appreciates calling a spade a spade.

Liz Harris inspires me because she puts Bartlett Students first. She always has a good attitude and wants to be involved while also encouraging her students to be involved.

Whitney D’Atri inspires me because she is always available as s support to students with challenging behaviors and to me when I need advice. She is empathetic and knowledgeable, creative, and above all, kind.

Ashley Doss inspires me because even though she is new to Bartlett she has taken on our kiddos as her own. He works hard and is amazing.

Sarah Widdison inspires me because she is always there for staff and students helping out. She also always has a smile on her face. Sarah, you are amazing!

Judy Lyon inspires me because she is always checking in with me to see how I”m doing. She is also doing everything she can to help our students. I’m glad her room is next to mine.

Whitney D’Atri inspires me because she cares about kids. She has demonstrated her heart and caring by taking the time to work with kids and teachers to help them flourish. She is a rockstar here at BHS.

Vern Randall inspires me because he is so thoughtful and intentional about how he responds to challenges and is great at turning them into opportunities or trouble-shooting solutions. Thanks, Vern!

Yan Wang inspires me because after returning to Bartlett after a long absence, she has taught and trained all of her Chinese students to sing beautifully in preparation for the Holiday Sing-a-long. Awesome!

Jonathan Cannamore inspires me because he is always here really getting ready for his day and he inspires his musicians to perform beyond what they think they are capable of.

Jonathan Cannamore inspires me because he is here early and works hard. The kids like him. He is pleasant to speak to.

All the coaches at BHS inspire me because I’m super wiped out at the end of the day but these ladies and gentlemen rally the energy to keep up the good fight for hours after the bell rings and weekends to boot.

Chance Matsuoka inspires me because he rides the line between compassion and honesty in a way that validates my frustrations while reigniting my drive to continue trying my best to teach these kids some math. He’s been a refreshing and amazing department chair and boss.

Conrado Gaerlan inspires me because he is always helpful even when the elevator was broken and he had to get paper up the stairs to the copier.

Brenda Hearn inspires me because she maintains a positive attitude and professional demeanor in all circumstances. She has been a great listener and steadfast friend over the years I have been at Bartlett.

Cathy Wright inspires me because she has to tell people bad news every morning, and she makes every effort to keep a positive attitude, put a smile in her email, and to the best she can always.

Yan Wang inspires me because despite personal grief she still maintains a positive and helpful attitude.

Bartlett Fine Arts inspires me because as someone who spent a large amount of my high school in the band room, (marching, concert, jazz), I appreciate what music brings to young people, the school, and the community. Thank you for providing that at the high level you do!!!

Marilyn Otero inspires me because she is a person of many “hats”, she tirelessly works her office and is a huge help in the school store.

Kaci Stephens inspires me because she is always ready and willing to help counselors with our needs with a SMILE. She pushes us to be better and gets in the weeds with us.

Julie Campbell inspires me because of her ability to lead our PLC, sending out weekly activities emails to help everyone with what’s going on. She shows up every day with a smile and a positive attitude. She is a great resource for questions and I appreciate her willingness to take the time to help me.

Jennifer, Cathy, Elise, Dana & Sarah inspire me because they are amazing!! The amount of details they remember and problems they can solve (with a smile!) is remarkable. Truly inspiring!

Sarah Widdison inspires me because she is so kind to all the students who come by. When you see Sarah she always has a smile on her face and is willing to help.

Cathy Wright inspires me because she is keeping her cool every morning while filling in last-minute sub-jobs.

Mark Youngblood inspires me because he continues pushing kids to do better by offering them lots of hands-on activities to learn from.

Francis Guilford inspires me because she is always so helpful and friendly despite the stupid questions and tech situations that mysteriously fix themselves before she gets there, making a wasted trip.

Cathy Wright inspires me because she wakes up every day to come to work at 6:00 am to shuffle an entire faculty into coverages. She’s awesome and makes it seem so effortless.

My friend, Brenda Hearn inspires me because she encourages me to always pray. She brightens my day every time I see her. She shares her love and kindness with everyone she encounters.

Annemarie Linhart inspires me because she is always professional and positive. I feel fortunate to work with her.

Sarah Davies inspires me because she radically inspires students to produce art that they never knew they were capable of. Many kids have told me that they didn’t know they had artistic talent before her class. She is amazing.

Whitney D’Atri inspires me because she always is prepared for PLC, excited for what we’re working on in our group, and helpful with students in the BRZ. She’s easy to work with, makes my teaching easier, and provides desperately needed support for our kids at BHS

Mary Williams inspires me because she is always working so hard to build relationships with her students and build supports for them. She is constantly thinking through interesting ways to engage her students.

Mariah Smith inspires me because I love how she’s become a Golden Bear and is upbeat, fun, and brings a breath of fresh air to our pod! Pod 337 will be the best pod this year!
