In this type of project, a student investigates a chosen topic (for example, what is causing the decline of King Salmon on the Deshka River?) by consulting primary sources, speaking with experts (scientists, nurses or doctors, etc.), and investigating a scientific site (fish hatchery, lab, factory, etc.) The student should explore the topic in depth and report the information in an interesting manner through photos, a journal, drawings, etc. Students must use and identify scientific sources.
