Miss.McAlister

My name is Hannah McAlister and the 2025-2026 school year is my 3rd  year teaching special education! I graduated Anderson University in 2023 with a degree in Multi- Categorical Special Education. My first year of teaching was spent at MPS and I moved to BHP for my second year! I am a proud BHP alumni where it was right here that I discovered through peer tutoring (in room 316!) the love I had for students with disabilities how GREAT they are, so that is the reason I pursed  a degree in this field and I absolutely have loved every minute of it. I believe that every child can learn in their very own ways! It is also very important as your child's teacher to have communication between school and home for your child! Communication helps skills learned here at school be carried over to home which is great with helping our students grow!! 

I am currently pursing a Masters degree in Special Education through Clemson University. Outside of school,I enjoy spending time with my family and my animals. I am very big animal lover, so of course I have 5 dogs and 3 cats, so thereforth I love to spend time with them! If I am not with family or my animals, I am either enjoying a good book, a good workout, or attending a concert (country music, of course!) somewhere nearby!
