Students should RESPECT themselves, their teachers and others while they are in class. They should respect their surroundings by not destroying property that belongs to others, the teachers, and their school. Furthermore, students should respect the right of others to learn by not talking or making other noises in school that might hinder them from doing so.
Integrity is of utmost concern as students are to be honest in their schoolwork, their dealings with teachers and with other students.
Students are to be responsible in bringing all supplies to class. This includes pencil, paper, charged Chromebook, headphones and Social Studies notebook. Students are to be responsible for getting their work done on time and to follow up with teachers by communicating with them about any missed work or grades that need to be completed. Finally, students are to be responsible with their cellphones. Cell phones are to be be put away when in the classroom unless the teacher tells them that they may have it out.
No one is perfect and we are never going to get everything the first time around. So, it is important that students understand that the most important rule of this class is to NEVER GIVE UP!! Turn in work on time, show a positive attitude and ask questions and IT WILL BE NOTICED! And I believe in rewarding good attitudes.
