Up until a little over a year ago, I was a native of Mississippi. There, I pastored churches in North Mississippi before I met my wife, Tracy, on a mission trip to Costa Rica. We were wed in September 2020 and then moved to Easley, South Carolina to start my life with Tracy and began substitute teaching in Anderson One School District. It did not take long for me to realize that teaching was my passion...and history had always been something that held a huge interest to me.
My wife is a teacher-librarian at Gettys Middle School. We love hiking, learning, and working on the mission field. We attend Calvary Hill Baptist Church in Easley, where we are active in serving in our local church.
I love working in the garden, flowerbeds and (when I have time...videogames.) Thank you for allowing me to teach your kids. It is a great privilege to get to do what I do, and I hope my passion for history will rub off on them.
