Blue Band Parents and Students:
The Blue Band is a Jazz Ensemble (grades 7-12) that consists of instruments in a typical Big Band. This ensemble will explore more advanced Ear Training, Rhythm, Improvisation, Technique, and Theory in Jazz Education.
*This ensemble requires additional audition materials*
Instrumentation will include:
Alto/Tenor/Bari Saxophone
Blue Band rehearsals are after-school on Thursdays, 3:00-4:30, in the Armstrong Jr/Sr Band Room.
Additional rehearsals may be held as needed and will be announced with ample notice.
