About ASD & Graduation
ASD is an Approved Private Special Education Program in the state of Connecticut for both our Core and PACES programs, and therefore follows graduation requirements outline by this state. If a town in Connecticut or another state with a student at ASD requires additional or amended credits for graduation, this must be clarified in the PPT.
If a student meets all graduation requirements established at ASD, they are eligible for an ASD Diploma which is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and the Conference of Educational Administrators of Schools and Programs for the Deaf (CEASD).
Any questions about the graduation requirements and/or courses offered at American School for the Deaf must be directed to Assistant Principal, Dr. Christa Bolen-Lange.
