Google Classroom is a free web service that simplifies creating, distributing, and grading assignments in a paperless way and streamlines the process of sharing files between teachers and students. ASD has been using Google Classroom and the middle school and high school for several years. The student must sign in with their ASD google account.


Blackbaud allows you to access your student's schedule, grades (MS & HS only), and contact information for teachers. Teachers may use this in addition to Google Classroom to post assignment information and grading criteria.

The Thinking Maps Learning Community is an online resource where students and teachers can create and share Thinking Maps. If you aren't sure what Thinking Maps are, CLICK HERE to learn more.

IXL supports standards-based learning in K-12 Math & English with adaptive and individualized instruction and immediate feedback for students.
Students who use this program have their own logins. Teachers may assign specific activities to indivdual students.
Achieve3000 is designed to help students improve their nonfiction reading skills by providing differentiated online instruction. Teachers may assign readings and follow-up questions. Students who use the program have their own login information.
Epic! is a digital library for kids offering access to some of the best children's books of all time. Email maria.jacovino@asd-1817.org or contact your child's teacher for more information.


BrainPOP offers short animated movies (which are Close Captioned) for students in grades K-12, together with quizzes and related materials, covering the subjects of science, social studies, English, math, engineering and technology, health, and arts and music. BrainPOP is letting ANY student whose school is closed access its website for free.
