About Me

Howdy! My name is Anne Storrie, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A). I received my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Texas A&M University in 1991 and my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2011. After a nine-year hiatus, I sat for the National Counselor’s Exam and began my journey toward licensure. Last year I worked as a school counselor at a charter school in Bryan, and prior to that I worked in a private counseling group in College Station counseling with adults, adolescents, and children. I am the mom of three amazing adult daughters who keep me busy and laughing. I also have two hyperactive dogs, Judy and Betty, that we rescued from a grocery store parking lot and a sweet cat, Cocoa, who really doesn’t care for the dogs. Outside of work, I enjoy hanging out with family, attending and serving at my church, playing with the dogs, and reading. I’m also a huge fan of Mexican food, great coffee, and watching movies.

I’m so excited to be a part of the Owl family! I look forward to getting to know you all and serving the school and community.
