Midterm: Thursday, December 21, 2023
Homework Expectations:
Students will be assigned reading nightly.
It will usually be out of their history reader, but may also be from a print-out or book that I will give to them. They are expected to read and mark-up their readings (RAN - reading, annotations, notes). Sometimes they may also be given reading questions alongside their readings.
Studenst will also sometimes be assigned reading out of their Land of Hope book (which stays at home with them). If they are given this assignment, they are expected to read it. They will be given a quiz in class the next day to check that they understood their reading. Students are permitted to use any notes they take on Land of Hope on this quiz. Therefore, I strongly encourage students to take notes on the LOH readings.
Students are expected to track their nightly reading and homework assignments in their planners.
