Homework Expectations:
As per policy, students should spend about fifty minutes on homework a night. Students have received a gray homework folder to take home with them each day, and we have worked together on how best to utilize our planners. I encourage parents to check in regularly with their students, to look over their planners so that they have an idea of what their student is learning and working on, and to ask their students questions about their school work regularly. It is my hope that the material your students are learning would be interesting to you as well.
Please email me if your student is regularly spending more than fifty minutes on their homework each night. I would also encourage you to regularly check in on your students progress, to help hold them to the virtues of responsibility and prudence.
We all have those days. If your student is having a difficult time with homework in a particular instance, or over the course of time, please contact me and we will come up with a solution together.
For all things Science, please refer to Mr. Turner's website which you can find here.
