Welcome to middle school social studies at Ascension! While each grade has a different topic of study, students will study the past in order to:

1. Develop a better understanding of the world around them and their place in it

2. Critically evaluate information, develop an opinion, and cite evidence to support their conclusions

3. Research historical issues to develop problem solving skills and make connections to contemporary issues

Each grade has their own class page that includes the class syllabus and information related to class/homework and projects.
