Welcome to science. If you need to contact me for any reason, my email is djackel@ascension-parish.com
My grades are weighted with class work being 60% of the grade, tests or projects being 30% and homework being 10%. The following are my absent and late work policies:
Each day an assignment is late will result in a deduction of 10% (an assignment turned in 2 days late will have a maximum possible grade of 80%). Assignments not turned in on time will receive a placeholder zero in Rediker. Once that assignment has been turned in, the zero will be replaced with the late grade.
Additional time will be given to students who are absent. Per the school handbook, students have the number of days they were absent plus two days to make up assignments they have missed (3 days absent + 2 make up days = 5 days to turn in makeup work before it is considered late).
I will post all homework, tests, or project due dates both here on the google site as well as on google classroom.
