For many, my career reads like someone who couldn't decide what to be when they grew up—but being an innovative thinker often means being rejected by the norm because of others bias -- I didn't look the part in male dominated fields, I didn't have this degree or certification (yet), or I didn't have enough time to understand an industry. It became exhausting. So I created a way forward that changed business and industries -- one city at a time.
My path. I focused on problem solving, rather than job titles. From chasing down criminal networks in policing, to protecting Fortune 500 companies from cyber threats, and leading a nationally recognized data team for analytical problem solving for human trafficking, gun violence, and other social concerns, my professional journey has zigzagged across industries as someone who embraces the next level of operations. For the clients who followed, we have refined what the future of data analytics, leadership, and high performing teams looks like.
Why? I love the dynamics of organizational changes and believe that given the right combination of leadership - people - technology, the resulting innovation, growth, and satisfaction is inevitable.
How do I measure success? Creating sustainable change that continues long after I have moved on to the next challenge—leaving behind not just improved performance metrics, but transformed organizations filled with people who actually understand why they're doing what they're doing (and not doing it the way it's always been done).
