In Middle School, students receive two 70 minutes classes of Performing Arts in a six day cycle. In grade 6, 7 and 8 students will have two classes of either Band, Orchestra or Theater.
In all units, students develop their performance and creating skills as individuals and within a group. Students learn how to analyze and evaluate artistic work related to each area and connect what they perform and create to the social and historical context of each starting point.
