Grade 3

In Grade 3, students receive one 45 minute music lesson in a 6 day cycle.

Singing and Movement - Students warm up each lesson with voice and movement to practice feeling the beat, listening, rhythm and tone.

Orff instruments - Students read and perform different melodies as an ensemble using different pitched and unpitched instruments.

Recorder - Students practice their understanding of musical notation and rhythms by performing and composing on a wind instrument.
