MS/US Social Studies - C3

Dates:  November 27-28 2023 (ASV)

In this Cohort, participants will continue their learning from the previous year by delving deeper into staging, sequencing, and concluding inquiries with authentic and informed action. Participants can expect to design, share, and refine their own inquiries in collaboration with each other, while exploring examples and C3 texts. Specific topics may include:

• Sequencing supporting questions and sources to build knowledge and arguments

• Creating curiosity through staging compelling questions

• Designing Taking Informed Action tasks

• Screening and Improving Finished Inquiries

Intended Audience: Grades 6-12 teacher of social studies who has a previous understanding of the C3 Framework for Social Studies.
