M.C. Escher

8th grade

Working with M.C. Escher Generator

After learning about Escher's life and work, we will start to generate results similar to those. For this, Mr. Tyler Shelden's STEAM class created different tutorials to operate a simulation of Escher's jobs.

The explanations given by the students who worked on the operative part are clear. They have put the mathematical amount; now, the art class will put the poetic piece.

I watched J, C, and X`s tutorial to help make this metamorphosis. I made two different patterns to make this metamorphosis. I connected my new pattern to the bat pattern, and used two different color palettes that matches well together.

I used the Metamorphosis machine generator and watched several videos to make this. I tried to create unique patterns that could stand out, and I unified the background color to yellow to make it look more natural.

For this one, I used the Fish / Bird color palette, and created a new pattern looking like opened cans. I liked how the part where the patterns connect looks like leaves falling down. The tutorial videos of J, C, and X were very useful in creating this drawing.

For this assignment I used the M.C Escher generator, metamorphosis machine. This design is my favorite because the colors are really pretty, and the shapes match with the tone of the color.

This design has a weird pattern, but I feel like the color are a good match together. To do this three designs I used XR's video tutorial.

To do this assignment I put effort, time and creativity. All three have different color and patterns.

In this design I wanted to do something more organized and minimalistic. I like how this design has colors that complement eachother well.

In this desing I still made the shpaes be to together like in the other one, but I chose a different shape and color palette . These color remind me of a shark because of the different tones of grey and of course the blue representing the water in the ocean.

This design is more abstract than the other ones and doesn't look so neat due to how I was going for a more abstract look. this desing remind me of a flower field because of the shapes and colors.
