The aim is to update this site during term four with information in relation to the transition process. This will be done on a regular basis as required.

As we approach the end of term, we would like to say thank you to pupils and parents for supporting what is always a very busy but enjoyable transition process.
On Tuesday 20th August, S1 pupils should make their way to the Main Hall for 8:40 am.

Here you will find our approach to mobile devices at Mackie Academy so that we minimise disruption to learning but maximise the digital skills that our young people have.

Please see the attached document which details the Mackie Academy School Dress code for 2023-24. This also specifies for each year group which days are School Kit and which are the only days pupils can come to school in their PE Kit. This information will be the same for 2024-25.
Please note that all new S1 will be given a Mackie Academy tie on their first official day August 20th.

We are working with a local company, Stich'n'Print to offer a choice of black, grey or red hoodies in a variety of sizes.

This is an online service which allows parents/carers to access a variety of school information.
We strongly encourage parents/carers to sign up to the portal as this remains the main way of changing and communicating details in relation to you and your child.

If your child has specific/specialised dietary needs this requires to be communicated to Aberdeenshire Council using the link above.
This information is then shared with the relveant teams within the Authority.
