What will I learn?

Your key responsibilities will include:

Visit sites including people’s homes to measure and evaluate the customer’s needs.
Utilising Howdens unique 'My Kitchen' service which offers the ability to create and view high quality images.
Correctly processing estimates, pricing, delivery dates and stock requirements for your customer.

Our Kitchen Sales Designers come from a variety of backgrounds; however they all share a passion for sales and providing great customer service. Using your natural sales skills and creative flair, you will learn to achieve and exceed your sales targets every month. Completion of a college programme, specifically the Performing Engineering Operations (PEO) qualification, or
Currently undertaking studies towards a Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering

With the emphasis firmly on grounds care machinery, you will develop skills and proficiency in a wide range of technical areas, from routine maintenance and servicing through to complex component overhauls utilising the very latest John Deere diagnostic equipment.

What qualifications or qualities are required?
Vehicles are highly complex, and whilst no formal qualifications are required, you must be literate and numerate, with a desire to learn, and a genuine interest in vehicle technology.
You should be;
Technically minded, practical, logical, able to listen, follow instructions and be willing to study
Able to work as part of a busy, fast moving team
SCQF Nat 5's desirable.
