Located at the Institute of Physics, Academia Sinica, in Taiwan, the Physics of Active & Living Matter (PALM) group comprises 9 PIs whose research spans nonequilibrium physics, soft matter physics, active matter, and living systems. Together, the PALM group aims to establish a leading research hub for the nonequilibrium physics and biophysics communities in Asia.
Founded in 1928, Academia Sinica is Taiwan's premier national research institution, comprising 33 research institutes and centers across three major divisions: Mathematics and Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Humanities and Social Sciences.
