About me

I am a family doctor and a mother to 2 children.  My passion is creating artworks with meaning.  

As a mixed media artist I love the vibrancy and quick drying capacity of acrylic paints, and especially delight in using gorgeous, free flowing acrylic inks. Collage elements are layered into my work at all stages and result in a 3 dimensional and textural surface.  I find creating naive collages particularly joyful! 

My studio is full of all manner of paper and bits and pieces, collected whenever I see something that strikes my fancy.  I carry a little sketchbook and a tin of water colour paints wherever I go and enjoy urban sketching too.

Just like my painting below, I love going on picnics, spending time with my family and friends, walking, listening to music, home cooking and learning new things!
