Volunteering at AAECS!

Effective July 2015, all school volunteers must obtain the required clearances. A volunteer is any adult serving in an unpaid position in which they are individually responsible for the welfare of a child or have "direct contact with children."

The following are required for all volunteers:

PA Criminal Background Check (FREE)

PA Child Abuse History Clearance (FREE - Go to Create Individual Account)

​FBI Criminal History Background Check ($22.95)
OR a signed affadavit, which is allowable only if you have lived in PA for the past 10 years. *

* Fingerprinting is required for all volunteers who have not been a continuous resident of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for the last 10 years. If you have been a continuous resident, you will be required to complete an official disclosure statement. Please complete the affidavit using the link below if this applies to you.

Fingerprint Affidavit
Must be updated every five years.
