Move-In and Pre-Welcome Week 

The Move-In and Pre-Welcome Week Schedule and events is meant for students, parents, and families who are moving into the Residence Halls and/or those who would like to participate in optional programming to help them get acquainted with SAIC. 

Residence Hall Move-In for the fall 2024 semester will be held as follows:

International Student Move-In: Wednesday, August 21
Domestic Student Move-In: Thursday, August 22 - Saturday, August 24 

Room and roommate assignments are sent to students via their SAIC email later this summer. Specific details about the move-in process will be included in this email.

The Online Orientation Course for students and Parents and Families will launch in August and will provide you with information and resources that will be vital to your SAIC experience. Through interactive content, you’ll learn more about what tools and supports you will find at SAIC, including campus engagement, career-focused information, financial aid, and the academic experience. The course features software downloads, which will be required for your classes.
Please note there is a New Student Orientation Course and Welcome Week charge of $225 which is automatically applied to the new student's tuition bill.

Welcome Week Check-In and Campus Tours are held daily. They are encouraged, but optional. You do not need to attend each day.
