Mandated Reporter Training
After all online trainings have been completed, your next step is to complete the Mandated Reporter Training. Click on "Login/Register" on the top right corner of the webpage.
All staff and volunteers who interact with children are required to complete the online Department of Children and Family Services Mandated Reporter Training. The purpose of this online course is to help us understand our critical role in protecting children by recognizing and reporting, along with a staff supervisor, child abuse.
This training will include:
A pre-training assessment (13 multiple-choice questions)
60-90 minutes of self-paced interactive training
A post-training assessment (13 multiple-choice questions)
A Certificate of Completion. Once you have your certificate please email this to the volunteer office as it will be needed for the next step which is a background check.
It is very important that you complete the training, and please keep in mind that you may find the training material very heavy going. This is by necessity because of its subject, and we appreciate you fulfilling this obligation. You can access the training module here
