The new semester is about to begin.
I found quite a lot of inspiration during my break. I almost cried while watching the beautiful ocean at sunset.
There were times when I started thinking at 9 a.m., and before I knew it, it was already 2 p.m.
I spent time sorting through my thoughts, encountering different people, and experiencing new fleeting moments.
Now, I find myself wondering what new feelings will begin to take shape within the space I have emptied and made room for.
I hope these feelings will find their way into the paintings that are yet to come.
I look forward to seeing where my work takes me next, and I hope you’ll come along with me.
Thank you.
Research
I wasn't satisfied with my piece, Doritos, so I created another work. But I still wasn't satisfied. I think I'm falling deeper and deeper into the endless process of exploring and researching this painting.

Doritos (snack) Cool Ranch tastes amazing
I had no idea how to finish this drawing, but after eating some Cool Ranch Doritos, the whole piece suddenly came together.
Thank you, Doritos!

(Not me,, you!)
Everyone struggles to survive in difficult circumstances. Sometimes, we rely on others, our emotions, or even our instincts to endure and move forward.
You reminded me of a petal carried by the wind. Whenever I see you enduring each day, I think of this purple petal. Like a delicate flower petal that is easily carried away by the wind, you may still be drifting through life right now.
But I hope that one day, you will become a beautiful flower with strong roots. one that has grown through every storm you have faced.
A moment of uncertainty before becoming fully mature.
Actually, this work is more moving when you see it in person, but I’m a little sad that the photo doesn’t capture its beauty well.
(Oil on canvas, 35x48inches, 2026)
This work explores the sadness that remains deeply embedded within the mind .. emotions that are difficult to let go of.
The blue background represents a quiet, endless space of loneliness and emotion, while the dark circular forms symbolize memories, sorrow, and the emotional weight that we carry but cannot easily release.
Everyone carries their own knots of sadness, unpleasant emotions, and memories that remain unresolved. However, we need to learn how to let go of these feelings, because holding onto them for too long can make life feel heavy and exhausting.
For this piece, I challenged myself by using colors that I normally dislike and approached them in a new way. To my eyes, it feels like an unfamiliar and strange painting..
but how does it feel to you?
Someone asked me if I have been feeling sad recently after seeing this painting. But I am not sad!

Some changes do not suddenly begin at a single moment.
They are actually part of a flow that has been continuing for a long time. They slowly build up, shift slightly, and keep moving in ways that are not always visible.
However, we cannot see the whole process at once.
So we pick out one moment from that flow and understand it as a “captured instant.”
That moment then feels like the beginning or turning point of everything.
In other words, what is actually a continuous flow becomes, in our perception, a single “instant” that is separated and given special meaning.
So, I’m just going to go with the flow, whatever comes.

In the Middle Ages, people believed that ocean whirlpools were the mouths of sea monsters rather than natural phenomena. They were afraid of forces they could not understand. But a whirlpool does not exist to harm anyone. It is simply a movement created by the ocean.
Can you see it? The loneliness, isolation, and tears of the whirlpool.
.
The whirlpool must’ve had it rough too. It probably went through a lot, bumping and crashing all over. But you know what? It actually mixes up the water, helping the fish and plankton live well !!

During a winter in the 14th century, when distrust and hatred filled the world because of the Crusades and the Black Death, an unknown church painter was creating a mural of the Virgin Mary.
Whenever the cruelty of the world made him feel anger and hate growing inside his heart, he carefully took out ultramarine - a precious blue pigment brought from across the sea at the cost of all his savings - and gently ground it by hand. With each brushstroke, he painted Mary’s robe with that deep blue color, a color believed to last forever. Then he wrote these words on the wall:
“Even when the world is full of hatred, and even when hatred rises inside me too, I hope your blue love will win in the end. So I offer this precious light from across the sea to you.”
- Even in moments when hatred surges up, I hope that in the end, love will prevail. Maybe, in the end, all you wanted was to be loved too.
So my wisdom tooth is starting to come in these days. That's Real. Lol -
