GRESHAM ARTHUR ACADEMY INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

In the event of inclement weather, Gresham Arthur Academy will follow the Gresham-Barlow School District’s status for school closures and delays.

School district closures and delays are generally announced between 6:00-7:30 am on many local radio and TV stations.

If GBSD has a 2 hour delay, GAA will also have a 2 hour delay. If GBSD is closed, GAA is also closed. Please be aware that GBSD has late start days on Wednesday, but GAA does not. Therefore, GAA may need to schedule its own 2 hour delay in the case of inclement weather. 

GAA will notify families via ParentSquare, as well as put the announcement on our website for all closures.

For any closure/delay that is unique to GAA (burst pipes, local power outage, etc.), we will use the same notification systems as above...ParentSquare and the GAA website.
