Join the Library of Congress as we inaugurate Meg Medina, the eighth National Ambassador for Young People's Literature. The National Ambassador is charged with fostering a love of reading, writing and civic engagement among children, teens and families. Medina will serve a two-year term from 2023 to 2024.

Intentaremos establecer una cronología de importantes esfuerzos por parte de diversas instituciones e individuos. Discutiremos la afirmación recurrente: “En PR no hay LIJ escrita por autores puertorriqueños” y su consecuencia y retos en la apreciación de la LIJ desde su valor literario y social, más allá del consenso de su importancia a nivel declarativo.
