Resources for Written Expression

  • District Tools and Strategies for Written Expression: EF Tool list, app descriptions, tutorials, and information on how to get them.

  • Seeing Student's Written Work on PDF's: For some students who are GRW users, they may use Google Read and Write's sister extension PDF Reader to write and annotate on PDF documents that you share (in edit view). In order to see this you will need to either add the extension yourself (recommended), but they can also do this trick to save their work (see and share PDF handout).

Resources for Engagement

  • Game Template SlidesMania: Looking for some ways to increase engagement in small group instruction? Make a copy of this Board Game and customize for your related service area. Relevant to PT/OT/SLP/SW's as well! 👏

  • Boom Cards: Attached are some videos of how to get started with Boom Cards for staff and parents. Boom Cards are self-correcting interactive decks that can be created across subjects for drill-play based activities.

  • Daily Lesson Assignments with SeeSaw: This is a YouTube tutorial from Loving Little Learners, that I found really helpful when it came to organizing assignments for our youngest remote learners. Also...did you know there is a seesaw extension??? Go to link below to check it out. It allows you to easily take screenshots and automatically puts it into your seesaw class....perfect when you need an image to link videos too.
