Take a look a some of the fun things we do at Stratton Library
During the school year 2016-2017 Stratton Elementary was renovated from top to bottom. The Library Media Center was fortunate to be able to move into a completely renovated space with large windows, space for comfy chairs and a large work area. The library serves as the heart of the school and is always changing to fulfill the needs of its students.
Ms. Zinfon's retirement card party
In early May, Mrs. Collins and Ms. Cameron, along with Mrs. Soares and Mr. Deck, delivered cards and notes of appreciation to Yvonne Zinfon, Stratton Library's long time volunteer. Ms. Zinfon volunteered at Stratton's library for over 10 years! She worked with grades K, 1st and 2nd by reading aloud to them and reading one-on-one with students. In addition to working with students, she also assisted in the duties of daily upkeep with the library, often not leaving until every book was shelved which allowed the library staff to work on other tasks.
Everyone will miss Ms. Zinfon but we hope she will drop by to visit us when she can.
