Finding Information with Databases

We have access to many research tools that are designed for middle school students. Using databases can help you find accurate, trustworthy information more quickly and easily than searching with a tool like Google.

Why Use Databases?

All of our databases include options for audio support (text to speech), translation, and multiple reading levels. Articles, images, and videos come from trusted sources like encyclopedias, books, magazines, and newspapers. They are a good way to find quick answers to basic questions and are the best way to get started on a bigger research project.

Suggested Databases

This is a great database for finding news articles, videos, images, and general information.

Pebble Go Next is a research database designed for new researchers.

A database of countries and cultures, detailing daily life, economics, schooling, history, customs and more.

Britannica School is an an excellent research tool for basic information about a wide variety of topics.

This database can be helpful for research related to Ancient Civilizations assignments and projects.
